MOSCOW, Jan 30 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom and Algeria’s largest oil company Sonatrach are discussing joint development of two fields in Algeria, Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Wednesday at a meeting of an intergovernmental commission.

“Gazprom and Sonatrach are discussing joint development of two oil and gas condensate fields in Algeria,” he said.

The two companies also weighted possibilities of joint work on two other oil fields in the country, but decided to stop cooperation, he said.
